This Glen Moray is a 17 year old Speyside single malt chosen by Milroy's of Soho for its Soho Selection. It was distilled on 17 February 2009 and bottled on 18 February 2026 at a cask strength of 54.3%, in a 70cl bottle. It combines two former bourbon barrels, numbers 5683 and 31, and the outturn is 112 bottles. It is unpeated, non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose brings warm spice, citrus, toffee, oak and crisp green apple, later cinnamon doughnuts, cocoa powder, dried hay, butter pastry, red berries and coconut. The palate is lively, with chilli chocolate, black pepper, cinnamon, orchard fruit and sweet pastry, becoming buttery and nutty with water. The finish is medium, with toasted oak, baking spices and dry grass.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
