A single cask Glen Moray from the North Star Cask Series 020, aged 12 years in a refill hogshead. It was distilled in March 2010 and bottled in September 2022 at 54%, giving 218 bottles in a 70cl size.
North Star Spirits, the independent bottler behind the series, left it non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
Dark sugar syrup and ginger biscuit mark the nose. On the palate, coarsely crushed black pepper meets hot buttered toast. The finish is soft and long.
