A nine-year-old Glen Moray single malt from Speyside, bottled by Hart Brothers as a single-cask release. It was distilled in August 2013, matured throughout in a first-fill sherry butt and bottled in January 2023 at 46%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
Sherry and dried fruit lead, with roasted nuts as a finer accent, while caramel, vanilla and dark chocolate move into a warm spice.
The nose is rich in sherry and dense dried-fruit sweetness, with roasted nuts. The palate is rich and soft, with creamy caramel and gentle vanilla meeting dark chocolate. The long finish balances spice and deep sherry notes.
