Glen Moray 21 Year Old is a single malt aged for 21 years, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 75cl bottle and non-chill-filtered.
The whisky first matured in American oak, which gave an intense spicy sweetness, then spent two years finishing in Portuguese port wine casks. The port casks added dark chocolate notes and a full body.
The nose combines berry fruits with creamy vanilla, caramel and freshly baked gingerbread. Dark chocolate and caramelised raisins run through the palate and linger into the finish.
