This is a single cask Glen Moray from Speyside, bottled by The Whisky Chamber at 55.9% ABV in a 50cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in 2007 and matured for 14 years in an Amarone barrique. The cask gave 172 bottles. The character is malty, sweet and fruity.
The nose is a robust one, with candied orange, dark fruit and a light wine note. On the palate, a mix of candied fruit sits with malt and apple crumble, sweet and mouth-filling. The finish is very long and complex.
