Glen Moray – Curiosity Rhum Agricole (70cl, 46.3%)

This is a small-batch, limited edition Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Glen Moray took whisky aged in American oak and filled it into Rhum Agricole casks from the St James distillery in Martinique, where it aged for a further two years. Rhum Agricole is made from fresh sugar cane juice rather than molasses, which gives a deeper flavour. The result is described as a malt of candied depth and spice, rich with spice and dark toffee, with the fruity Speyside style alongside the sweet, spicy character of the casks.
