Glen Moray – Peated Single Malt (70cl, 40%)

This is a peated Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, added to the distillery's Classic range. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The peat is gentle and medicinal, sitting alongside vanilla, orchard fruits and floral, fragrant notes. The nose shows apricot, roasted pineapple and hints of tobacco leaf. On the palate the smoke stays in the background, behind vanilla and orchard fruit, and the finish is a little peppery yet still sweet.
