Glen Moray Port Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt from the Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It matures first in American oak and then spends several months in Port casks from Porto Cruz.
The Port finish adds rich fruit and soft wine notes to the Speyside character and gives the whisky a rosy-golden colour. It is chill-filtered and has added colouring.
On the nose, vanilla with a toasted note and light oak meet rich dried fruit. The palate is fresh and spicy, with a zesty lemon note, caramel sweetness and cinnamon. The finish is soft and balanced, with gentle wine notes and toasted oak.
