Glen Moray Warehouse 1 Peated Tequila Finish is a peated Speyside single malt finished in tequila casks. It is bottled at a cask strength of 58.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has green, slightly ashy smoke with cooked pears, pastry and creamy vanilla, alongside salted crackers, cream cheese and tangy lemon curd. On the palate the citrus turns to lime, with raisins, cooked plums and a little dark chocolate, and malty sweetness arrives with time.
The ashy smoke returns in the finish, with herbal and honey notes and a hint of clove.
