A 10 year old Glen Ord distilled in 2006 and bottled by Cadenhead in its Small Batch series. The whisky was matured in two bourbon hogsheads and bottled in 2016, with an outturn of 612 bottles.
The nose is soft vanilla and gentle spice, with a creamy note followed by waxy damp grass and a touch of lemon zest. The palate is full and rich, leading to waxy honey. The finish carries honeycomb, lemon, syrup and delicate fruit.
