This is a nine-year-old Glen Ord single malt, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022 at 43% as edition 6.3 of La Maison du Whisky's Artist Collective. It is a vatting of six first-fill bourbon barrels rather than a single cask, and is non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The label carries Peinture Ideographique III by Yanis Khannoussi, with violet lines on a yellow ground.
The nose combines pear, watercress, walnut, vanilla and fresh-cut hay, with orange blossom and hyacinth. The palate starts lively with star anise, nutmeg and clove, then herbs, pear, apple and citrus. The finish is long and velvety, with herbs and gentle honey sweetness.
