This is an 11-year-old Glen Ord single malt from the Highland Laird series by Bartels Whisky Ltd. It was distilled on 8 April 2015, matured in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez butt, cask 91, and bottled in 2026 at 49.2% in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 485 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and free of added colouring.
The PX butt brings dark dried fruit, chocolate and oak spice, with pale malt still showing on the nose. The nose offers ripe plums, raisins, vanilla and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate come dark chocolate, dried figs and caramelised syrup, with oak and a hint of clove. The finish is long, with sweet dried fruit, oak spice and pepper.
