This is an 11-year-old Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, a limited edition in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 54.1% ABV. The spirit is unpeated.
It was first matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then finished for 10 months in a combination of Oloroso and PX sherry casks.
The nose brings spiced rum, juicy plums, toffee and lemon peel. The palate is rich and velvety, with sweet vanilla, salted butter, raisins and sultanas, and the warming spice of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.
