This is an 11 year old Glen Scotia from Campbeltown, released in 2020 as part of the Sherry Double Cask Finish series. It is an unpeated spirit distilled in 2008 and bottled at a cask strength of 54.1% ABV.
It matured first in first fill bourbon casks, then spent ten months in first fill hogsheads that held Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry. The casks were then vatted again with a portion of bourbon cask whisky.
Bourbon vanilla, sherry fruit and spice run through it, alongside the maritime style of the distillery.
