This is a Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle without chill filtration.
The whisky is first matured in first-fill American bourbon barrels, then finished for up to 12 months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose is toffee and vanilla with dried apple and pear, a little sea salt and barley sugar. The palate opens with crème caramel and caramelised fruit, then fudge and wood sugar, with peach and apple coming through from the sherry. The finish is medium to long, with dried fruit, sea spray, toffee and spice.
