Glen Scotia – Classic Series No. 2 Unveiling Vintage 2015 Unpeated (70cl, 54%)

This is an unpeated single cask single malt from Glen Scotia in Campbeltown, released as part of the Classic Series No. 2 Unveiling. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 54%, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent its final five years in a first-fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead, which gives it strong sherry character. Just 276 bottles were filled, and it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Figs with a hint of dark rum meet the sweetness of cola cubes and concentrated black prunes. Bitter walnuts and dark chocolate add depth, and cinnamon, cloves and gingerbread bring a warm spice.
