It is lightly peated and was finished in an ex-white port cask.
The nose is lightly smoky and sweet, with ripe fruit, lemon, mint, strawberries, green grapes and pastry. The palate starts firmly, with red fruit, chocolate, malt, smoke, pepper and a maritime touch. The finish is long and dry, mineral, peppery and smoky.
