Glen Scotia – 12 Year Old Seasonal Release 2022 Edition (70cl, 53.3%)

This is the 2022 Seasonal Release of Glen Scotia 12 Year Old, a single malt from the Campbeltown distillery on the Kintyre peninsula. It is bottled at a cask strength of 53.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle and was released in a strictly limited edition. Glen Scotia was founded in 1832 as the Scotia Distillery, and its home on the Atlantic coast gives this town a lively character of its own. The nose is maritime, with sea spray, sweet honey and caramel. Creamy vanilla and salted caramel meet warming cinnamon and nutmeg on the palate, and the finish is nutty, gently spiced and mildly dry.
