A 14-year-old Glen Scotia from Campbeltown, released as No. 1 in the Campbeltown Saga, which looks back to the era when the town was known as Whiskyopolis. It was distilled in 2011, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled in 2025 at 50% as a limited distillery bottling. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
A medium-peated distillery style meets the sweetness of fresh bourbon wood.
The nose combines warm peat smoke and green apple with a hint of grilled pineapple, vanilla cream and brown sugar. On the palate, smoke and fruit meet lively lemon, salty coastal minerality and salted caramel. The finish is medium to long, with smouldering smoke, maritime notes and gentle sweetness.
