Glen Scotia 15 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt, bottled by the distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak, which adds vanilla, honey and caramel to the distillery's dry, grassy, coastal character.
The nose brings citrus peels and ginger snap biscuits, with apricot that drifts towards fruit salad before the wood comes forward. The palate is drier than the nose suggests, and the finish is firm and slightly dry, with warming spice.
