Campbeltown lies on the Kintyre peninsula, on Scotland's west coast. It once had more than 30 distilleries, and three are active today. Glen Scotia is one of them, a survivor from the period when the town was known as the Victorian Whisky Capital of the World, kept going by consistent quality and a renewed style.
