A 15 year old single malt from Glen Scotia, matured in bourbon casks made from American oak.
The nose is of medium weight, with lemon peel and ginger biscuits, sweet and deep, alongside apricots and fruit salad. The palate is a surprise after that fruity nose, as it turns out dry. A little water brings out caramelised fruit, balanced by fine wood notes and vanilla.
