Glen Scotia – 16 Year Old Classic Campbeltown Malt (2017) (1L, 46%)

This is a 16-year-old Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, in a 1 litre bottle at 46% ABV. It was matured in American oak barrels and bottled non-chill-filtered, with natural colour. The whisky balances soft peat smoke, vanilla, light spices and maritime influences, in what is described as the historic Campbeltown style. The nose is sweet malt, honey, citrus and a hint of smoke. The palate is creamy and full, with vanilla, oak, dried fruit and a subtle salty edge. The long finish is softly smoky, with warm woody notes.
