This is a Glen Scotia bottled by Signatory Vintage, distilled on 18 March 1992 and bottled on 7 October 2005 at 13 years old. It matured in a refill butt, cask 305, and 761 bottles were filled at 43% ABV.
The nose opens with vanilla yoghurt, caramel creme, muesli and dried pears, then a little smoke, tar and white rum. The palate is smoky and fruity, with pears, white peaches, cough gums, pu-erh tea and thyme. The finish is sweeter and fairly long, still smoky, with a mineral note and tinned pineapple.
