This is a single malt from Glen Scotia, distilled in 1992 and matured for 26 years in first fill bourbon barrels. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it in 2018 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice collection, in a 70cl bottle.
It comes from batch 18/036, which yielded 200 bottles.
The nose is delicate and floral, with beeswax. On the palate it is creamy, with milk chocolate, bursts of citrus and ripe banana, leading to a complex finish of charred oak.
