Glen Scotia – 2002 Vintage Release (2019) (70cl, 50%)

This is a 2002 vintage release from Glen Scotia, a limited edition bottled at cask strength, 50%, in a 70cl bottle. It has natural colour and is non-chill-filtered. Glen Scotia is one of the last three active distilleries in Campbeltown, and this bottling is described as following the classic Campbeltown style: slightly oily and subtly smoky. The flavours pointed to are creamy vanilla, soft honey, sweet citrus, maritime sea salt and warm oak spices, with a light, oily texture.
