Glen Scotia 25 is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 48.8% ABV. It matured first in American oak and then spent twelve months in first-fill bourbon casks for its finish. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
On the nose, sea salt and seaweed sit alongside ripe orange and a soft vanilla sweetness. The palate brings apple and creamy vanilla with gentle chocolate, orange and a little ginger spice. The finish is long, with oak, maritime notes and a light ginger heat.
