Glen Scotia 25 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt matured in American oak and brought together at the end in first-fill bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 48.8% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtering or added colour, and comes in a wooden box.
The nose is led by a strong maritime freshness, like Atlantic air and sea spray, with vanilla, oak and spicy fruit. On the palate, coastal freshness, red apple and zesty orange peel meet vanilla syrup and caramel. The finish is long, leaving sea salt and a warmth of ground ginger.
