This Glen Scotia is a nine-year-old unpeated Campbeltown single malt, a limited edition made for the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2024. It is bottled at 56.2% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered.
The whisky was first matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and then finished in Fino sherry casks.
Citrus, crisp apples and tart quince show on the nose, with a little oak spice. The palate brings juicy nectarines, ripe oranges and rose notes, with creamy salted caramel and toasted oak. A maritime note runs through the long finish.
