Glen Scotia – 9 Year Old Campbeltown Malts Festival 2025 (54.3%)

Glen Scotia 9 Year Old is the distillery's bottling for the 2025 Campbeltown Malts Festival, which takes place each May. It is a heavily peated single malt at a natural cask strength of 54.3% ABV. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured. The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then finished for five months in Spanish Ribera del Duero red wine casks. The nose combines peat smoke, sea spray and ripe berries. On the palate, smoke and sweetness come with blackberry, red fruit and English liquorice. The finish is long and warming.
