This is Glen Scotia's 2021 release for the Campbeltown Malts Festival, a 10 year old single malt in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 56.1%.
It is the first year the distillery has chosen unpeated spirit for its festival bottling. The whisky was matured first in first-fill bourbon barrels, then finished in Bordeaux red wine casks.
It is described as showing fruit and spice, which sit well with the distillery's coastal character.
