This Glen Scotia single malt is matured in first fill bourbon barrels and then finished for up to 12 months in PX sherry casks.
The nose is very sweet. It starts with crème caramel, caramelised fruit, sugar, toffee and fudge, before apples and peaches emerge, with a hint of mint on the palate. The palate begins gently sweet, then turns full-bodied, spicy and fairly dry, with more fruit.
The finish is deep and dark.
