Glen Scotia Double Cask is a Campbeltown single malt matured in first-fill bourbon casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
The nose is vanilla, crème brûlée, sea spray, caramel and honey, with dried fruits and soft spice from the sherry finish. On the palate it is full-bodied, with sweet malt, toffee, sultanas, cinnamon and a touch of coastal brine. The finish is medium to long, with lingering sweetness, gentle spice and dried fruits.
