Glen Scotia – Double Cask Rum Finish

Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish is a Campbeltown single malt that starts from the distillery's Double Cask and takes it a step further. The whisky is matured on in ex-Demerara rum casks, which add tropical and exotic aromas such as burnt sugar, molasses and fruit. The nose pairs burnt sugar with maritime notes of sea salt and a touch of tropical fruit. The palate is rich, with burnt sugar and molasses balanced by coconut, banana and peach. The finish combines warming spice with a maritime edge.
