Glen Scotia – Double Cask Rum Finish

Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish is a Campbeltown single malt matured first in American oak, then finished in rum casks. The rum finish brings tropical sweetness to a bright, fruity and lightly spiced whisky that keeps the distillery's coastal character. The nose combines tropical fruit, vanilla, caramelised sugar and citrus peel, with a soft maritime saltiness. The palate has sweet malt, coconut, pineapple, banana bread and honey. The finish is medium-long, with warming spice, tropical sweetness, sea spray and vanilla.
