This is a 10 year old Glen Scotia single malt from Campbeltown, bottled for the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2021 at a cask strength of 56.1% ABV.
It matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks and then received a finish in Bordeaux red wine casks. The two woods bring different accents, from lighter sweetness to darker fruit.
The flavours are described as vanilla, red fruit, wine cask spice, malt and oak, together with maritime Campbeltown notes.
