Glen Scotia Festival 2022 is an 8 year old Campbeltown single malt, released for the Campbeltown Malts Festival. It was bottled on 17 March 2022 at cask strength, 56.5% ABV, in an edition of 24,000 bottles.
The whisky matured in first-fill bourbon casks and was then finished in Pedro Ximénez peated casks, which is where the peat influence comes from.
Its character is given as bourbon vanilla and PX sweetness, with peat smoke, oak spice and maritime notes.
