Glen Scotia Icons of Campbeltown Release No.2 is the second bottling in an annual series celebrating the stories, resilience and community spirit of Campbeltown's whisky industry. Its theme is Saint Michael, shown slaying a fire-breathing dragon on the Campbeltown Market Cross. The whisky is a medium peated 14 year old single malt, finished for six months in ex-Barolo red wine casks. It is a limited edition, and the packaging carries artwork by illustrator Joel Holtzman. It is described as pairing bold maritime salinity and gentle peat smoke with candied red fruits, berries, spice and oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
