Glen Scotia The Dragon is a 14 year old single malt, the second release in the five-part Icons of Campbeltown series. It is medium peated, finished in Barolo red wine casks, and bottled at 56.8% with natural colour in a 70cl bottle.
The series draws on the figures carved into the Campbeltown Cross. This edition, created with the artist Joel Holtzman, shows St Michael slaying a fire-breathing dragon with his spear, as carved on the left arm of the cross.
It is described as offering candied fruit and berries, with spicy notes and a long finish.
