Glen Scotia Victoriana is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at cask strength, 54.2% ABV. It was matured in selected casks and then finished in heavily charred oak barrels, which give it a deep colour and layers of wood spice and burnt sugar.
The nose shows toasted oak, crème brûlée, dark caramel and sweet smoke. The palate is full and oily, with brown sugar, dried fruit, spices, black pepper and a subtle touch of Campbeltown smoke. The finish is long, warm and driven by wood, with a hint of dark chocolate.
