This is a cask strength single malt from Glen Scotia, the Campbeltown distillery, bottled in 2022 at 54.2%. It matured in ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in heavily charred oak casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no colouring added, and its colour is described as ochre.
The sweetness of vanilla and blackcurrant jam is set against oak spice in the finish, giving a balance of sweetness and spice with a strong, intense flavour.
