Glen Scotia Victoriana is a small batch single malt, bottled at 54.2% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in first and second fill bourbon casks, then finished in PX and heavily charred oak casks.
The nose is elegant, with oak leading the way through crème brûlée and caramelised fruit to polished oak. The palate starts sweet and concentrated with jammy blackcurrant, builds a big middle and tightens towards the back, becoming more austere with water. The finish is clean and sweet at first, with a green bean and cocoa character.
