GlenAllachie 10 Year Old French Oak is a limited edition bottled at 48%, released in the year Billy Walker marks 50 years as a blender.
The whisky matured first in ex-bourbon casks, then spent 18 months in fresh French oak. It has a golden bronze colour.
The French oak brings silky tannins, sweet spice and fruity notes that sit in balance with the malt. The finish is long and soft, with toffee, ginger, cinnamon and a little grapefruit.
