Meikle Toir The Original is a five-year-old peated single malt from Glenallachie Distillery. It is the first bottling in the Meikle Toir range, which is produced and led by master distiller Billy Walker.
The whisky is matured in a combination of casks: virgin American oak, ex-rye and ex-bourbon.
The nose has creme brulee, burnt honey and peat smoke. On the palate come orchard fruit, lemon zest and black pepper.
