The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Batch 10 is a Speyside single malt bottled at 57.8% abv, without artificial colouring or chill filtration.
It was matured in Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximenez puncheons, along with a few virgin oak and Rioja casks, then married together. The distillery sits at the foot of Ben Rinnes and is led by Billy Walker.
The nose brings walnut, dark chocolate, juicy cherry and dried orange peel. On the palate come honey, liquorice, sugared almonds and cinnamon, leading to a long finish with lingering hints of citrus.
