This is a 12-year-old GlenAllachie from Speyside, finished in Moscatel casks. The whisky spent its first eight years in ex-bourbon casks and then more than 42 months in Moscatel casks before bottling.
Billy Walker found the Moscatel casks for this finish, and the bottling was made for the European market. It is bottled at 48%, without added colour or chill-filtering.
