This is a 13 year old GlenAllachie single malt from Speyside, a limited edition bottled for Lunar New Year 2026 to mark the Year of the Horse. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled at the end of July 2025 at 48% ABV. Master Distiller Billy Walker created the multi-wood finish, which uses Pedro Ximenez sherry, Oloroso sherry and virgin oak casks. The nose offers orange zest, mocha and warmed molasses with butterscotch, cocoa and cinnamon sticks. The palate runs from toasted almonds, honeycomb and maraschino cherries to candied ginger, Black Forest gateau, baking spices and blood orange. The finish is long, with charred raisins, cinnamon roll and mixed spice over a syrupy, cola-like texture.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
