A 15 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, matured first in ex-bourbon casks and then for 18 months in virgin Scottish oak. The oak is Sessile oak from the Atlantic coast.
It is part of a series of limited editions put together by Billy Walker, and it marks his 50th anniversary as a blender. It is bottled at 48%.
On the nose there is honey, vanilla, citrus fruit, butterscotch, orange peel and white chocolate. The palate brings caramelised nuts, cinnamon, toffee and orange peel.
