GlenAllachie 19 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Billy Walker's Masters of Wood series. It matured exclusively in ex-Solera sherry casks and is bottled at 50% ABV.
The nose brings brandied plum, mocha, honeycomb, caramel snaps, molasses and cocoa. The full-bodied palate carries plum syrup, treacle, heather honey, black cherries, brandied orchard fruits, cinnamon and ginger.
The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate, dried fruit and gentle spice.
