GlenAllachie – 19 Year Old Masters of Wood Ex-Solera Sherry Cask (50%)

This is a 19 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, part of its Masters of Wood series and created under Master Distiller Billy Walker. It is bottled at 50% ABV. Billy Walker chose casks that had held sherry in a traditional solera system for more than 55 years before they began a new life at GlenAllachie. The whisky is described with raisins, figs and orange peel, alongside dark chocolate, roasted nuts, sweet spice and polished oak.
